Another day, time for a new brief I suppose.. Last year Antony Gormley gave people the chance to go up onto the plinth for an hour at a time and they were able to do whatever they like basically!
Some of the videos on this website are hilarious and so in teams of two we have been given the task to do our own ideas as to what we would do if we went up there on a make shift plinth for 5 minutes! This is going to be fun!
After brainstorming ideas, me and my partner Laura Gallagher came up with a plan, a play on words and time to get messy (not literally) but as a figure of speech.
Since Laura and I are two different people we dont get a chance to talk much, in our graphics class we talk and have a laugh as a group, but as individuals we dont mix up very much.
Hence, working with Laura is a rarity infact, this is a first!
Our ideas were on how two very different people can get together, close in contact but have fun just like we have today.. hmmm I hear you ask how? Well, were going to be STUCK together!
Stuck as in we are literally going to be tied together, we are going to cling film ourselves together and do what we liked doing as a child.. because children always seem to make new friends with "one and other" this being our play on words with the name of the website that Antony Gormley created.
In order for us to have fun whilst being stuck together and having to work as a team, we are going to pop bubble wrap, skip, and even try and walk. Sounds fun!
This is then going to be recorded! I will post it on here for you to have a giggle at!
